Unlike regular pool, crazy pool shakes things up with ramps, loops and tricky obstacles that send the balls flying in unexpected directions. The aim? Pot as many balls as you can while navigating the wild course that makes every shot a new challenge.
It’s fast-paced fun with plenty of twists, turns and laughs along the way. Whether you’re plotting the perfect shot or just hoping for a lucky bounce, crazy pool is about unpredictable shots, plenty of laughs and games everyone can enjoy together.
HOW TO PLAY Crazy Pool
Although crazy pool comes with ramps, loops and obstacles, the basics are still the same as a regular game of pool. If you’ve picked up a cue before, you’ll get the hang of crazy pool in no time – the only difference is the shots are wilder, the challenges trickier and the fun turned up a notch!
Grab Your Cue
Start on Hole 1 by taking your first shot with a pool cue. Just like mini golf, you’re aiming to pot the ball through the obstacles and into the hole.
Six-Shot Limit
You’ve got up to six shots to sink the ball into each hole before your turn ends. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between precision and momentum.
Keep Your Score
Track how many shots you take per hole – just like in mini golf, the player with the lowest total wins. Hole‑in‑ones? Major bragging rights
Above All - Have a Ball
Whether you’re trying to outscore your pals or just enjoy the chaos, make sure fun comes first.

Crazy Pool FAQs
Got questions about crazy pool? From how it works to tips on getting the best score, we’ve covered everything you need to know to make the most of your game at King Pins. Check out the FAQs below for all the info you need for a fun, hassle-free experience.
What exactly is Crazy Pool?
Crazy pool is a mash‑up of crazy golf and American pool – played on raised tables, you use a pool cue to pot the ball through creative, mini‑golf‑inspired obstacles.
How do I win at Crazy Pool?
Just like mini‑golf, the player with the lowest total shots wins. Aim for hole‑in‑ones on every table and keep that score as low as you can!
How long does a game usually take?
Expect to spend around 30–45 minutes racing through all holes – your booking starts with Hole 1 and allows a tee‑off time of two minutes per person.
Is Crazy Pool beginner-friendly?
Absolutely! It’s great for all skill levels – no pool or mini‑golf expertise required.
What group size works best?
We recommend groups of up to four. It keeps things quick, social and fun – nobody waits too long.
Can I enjoy a drink or food while playing?
Drinks are A‑OK at the tables. However, food service isn’t available in the game area due to space, so we suggest grabbing a bite at the bar before or after your game.
How many times can I go around the course?
Each booking is per person, per game. Once you’ve finished the course, simply return your cue to the Games Desk.
Can under-18s play Crazy Pool?
At King Pins venues, crazy pool is open to all – but always check your local venue’s policy on age restrictions, especially during busier times.
